Meituan has released AI browser Tabbit 1.0, with its core functions being permanently free.
On June 9th, it was announced that the AI browser Tabbit 1.0 of Meituan will add a memory function. It will continuously record users’ preferences, backgrounds, and other important information, and form “adjustable memories”. It will automatically adapt to the user’s response style, reduce ineffective conversations and actions, and make each interaction more in line with the user’s needs. Liu Jing, the head of Tabbit, said that the core functions such as basic conversations, web reading, and common tips for the general users of Tabbit will be permanently free. For frequently used Agent automatic calls and advanced customized scenarios, Tabbit will explore a differentiated subscription model to balance the computing power cost. Currently, the Windows and macOS versions of Tabbit have been simultaneously launched, and the mobile version has also started testing
