OpenAI releases open-source version of Codex Security CLI

On July 29th, OpenAI announced on the social media platform X that it has released the open-source version of Codex Security CLI. Users can now use this tool to scan code repositories, track and identify issues across multiple runs, verify the results of the fixes, and incorporate security checks into the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) process. OpenAI stated that the product is currently in its early release stage and will continue to be improved based on user feedback
